[Wanted For Shmurda]

If you're like me, and keep it 3 Hunna, you will know about the Chiraq sound, and how big Drill Music has gotten in the last couple of years. It’s made Chief Keef, Fredo Santana and all the Lil kids; Lil Reese, Lil Durk, Lil Bibby household names (if you live in a trap-house that is.)

Bobby Shmurda, on the other hand, is looking to become the King of the Chicago Drill sound, all the while being from Brooklyn, New York to the disdain of those from Chiraq. But Bobby is too busy getting money to worry about any turf war he says.

No other drill/hip-hop artist has blown up as fast as Bobby Shmurda has, with his infectious single Hot N*gga, which was released earlier this year, and his invention of the "Shmoney Dance" which can be seen in the video for Hot N*gga.

All thanks to the newest social media outlet that is Vine, the Shmoney Dance, which has been performed by Beyonce, Rhianna, Beiber and myself a few times in the privacy of my own home, has helped Bobby garner 13-million plus views on his YouTube video for Hot N*gga, which is quite a feat for an artist with no major label behind them.

The video in itself is quite a sight to behold from the amount of people in his crew, to the invisible guns he points at the camera, some even require both hands to hold and the most intricate gang signs I have ever seen getting thrown up.

For those who haven't had the pleasure of listening to it yet, the track which was produced by Jahlil Beats, follows the all to common spoken word/shout out intro that includes the name drops, producer credits and the "Insert beat maker here" Made the Beat, voiced by either a woman or a little kid. That being said, it is not repetitive or cliched as its what I often look forward to the most. Once that harsh boxy 808 kick drops, Bobby comes through flexing his cred from his days selling crack as a 10-year old with his older brother, shooting rivals in broad daylight, wanting the freedom of his homes who are locked down and ofcourse getting mad cash.

Bobby has released an instant club banger with Hot N*gga, and has a great future ahead of him with a few collabs in the works that will include Chris Brown and Busta Rhymes. The proof of his popularity was when he brought out on stage during a Drake concert, where the entire audience seemed to know every line! The single only dropped in July!

We now await the release of Bobby's first mixtape hilariously entitled "Shmurda She Wrote"  which will drop later this year and he has gone on the record to say he has plenty more dance moves to get us all going dumb in clubs. ah ah ah
